Why Impact Growth Solutions?
After years working in the community—through Family Resource Centers (FRCs), the Black Child Legacy Campaign (BCLC), outreach programs, community education, listening sessions, and close partnerships with trusted community leaders—Gina began to notice a pattern that needed to change.

What she saw:
-
Funding often went to larger, long-established organizations—not always the ones doing the most impactful or community-connected work
-
Grassroots organizations lacked access to systems, infrastructure, and consistent support and resources (funds!)
-
Passionate teams were stretched thin, with limited resources to expand their reach
-
Many organizations weren’t equipped to measure or communicate their impact
That insight, combined with a major transition in her own life, led Gina to start Impact Growth Solutions—to help organizations passionate about their mission turn their vision into action and impact by accessing and maximizing resources, operating efficiently, and measuring their outcomes to demonstrate their impact.

Today, through Impact Growth Solutions, Gina provides strategic consultation and results-oriented services—strategic planning, grant writing, program development, project management, and systems improvement—to organizations ranging from grassroots nonprofits and small businesses to large nonprofits and local governments.

Gina Roberson, M.S.
Gina has 25+ years of experience in executive leadership, non-profit management, cross-sector collaboration, capacity building, improving systems, strategic planning, and team building. In her various roles at both small and large organizations, her experiences contributed to her knowledge and expertise in effectively managing non-profit organizations, maximizing resources, successfully implementing programs, and creating systems to streamline processes. She experienced great successes as well as challenges – always learning from every experience and committed to continuous improvement. Over the years she participated in and learned from things like successful and unsuccessful grant writing, clean audits and audits with findings, site visits from funders, and even worked for an organization that went through an investigation by the inspector general. During the recession, she experienced major funding cuts and had to learn how to do the work with less than half of the annual operating budget. There were also times of great growth and an excess of funding when she successfully managed triple the annual operating budget and learned how to scale programs quickly and effectively.

Having worked in human services in different roles at government, education, and non-profit agencies, Gina brings a broad perspective to all she does. She understands the strengths of communities, the necessity of collaboration, the value of training and supporting staff, the role of data, evaluation, and continuous quality improvement, and the benefit and importance of building strong sustainable non-profits.
